The WHO regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean launch the All-Hazard Information management (AIM) Toolkit in Cairo, Egypt. This groundbreaking innovation harnesses generative artificial intelligence to revolutionize emergency health response by drastically cutting the time needed to generate critical response documents – from weeks to minutes – without compromising technical accuracy or contextual relevance.
Developed in collaboration with NORCAP and WHO’s Global Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence, the AIM Toolkit supports rapid, tailored decision-making during health crisis. It enhances WHO’s Emergency Response Framework by automating key processes, enabling experts to focus on strategic actions amid complex emergencies. The launch represents a major step toward more agile, informed, and equitable responses in a region facing mounting health threats.
